Rescue

Here in San Jose and all over the world shelters are severely impacted and over capacity. There are far more dogs in distress than available animal control officers on any given day. Please don’t hesitate to call if you come across a dog that is hurt or in danger.

Placement

In an effort to keep dogs out of our local shelter we are here to help pet parents who feel overwhelmed or are otherwise no longer in a position to provide proper care for their dogs. Through our social media we offer a courtesy post in order to help these pet parents connect with potential adopters. We can connect these pet parents with adopters directly or assist them in rehoming their dogs by collecting applications, doing home inspections and setting up adoption meetings. Whether we are assisting in rehoming or adopting out one of the dogs in our care we operate using a foster to adopt system. This means the potential adopter will foster a dog for between three days and three weeks before we finalize any adoption. This way the dog has time to settle into his new environment before the potential adopter makes a lifelong commitment. Our adoption fee is $300 for every dog no matter the breed or age. Every dog adopted through the rescue will be fixed, up to date on vaccines and micro chipped.

To set up a meeting with a dog you’ve seen posted on our social media DM us via Instagram or Facebook with the name or description of that dog as well as your preferred method of contact and we will send you an adoption application.

Outreach

One of the more important aspects of our work is providing struggling pet parents with supplies as well as emergency medical assistance in order to keep their pets happy healthy and in their care. This is a service we provide to all pet parents in the south bay area whether they be in the houseless community or simply can’t afford to provide medical attention their dogs desperately need.

This year we are limiting our financial assistance program to spay/neuter, vaccine, and microchip services only. These are both the most requested services and the most vital to having a lasting impact on the overall pet population. We also provide supply drops to struggling pet parents in and around San Jose. Food, flea medication, beds, collars, leashes, etc..   To apply simply email us. Make sure to include both your name and contact info as well as your dogs basic information.
